Update on Delonte

Many of you may remember Delonte’s Story, which we recounted three years ago.  Homeless since the ninth grade, Delonte attended Glenville State College in West Virginia, where last year he led Division II football in interceptions.  Delonte was noticed by the coaching staff at the University of Toledo, where I delivered him three weeks ago (picture below) for his junior year. 

I am happy to report he has settled in and has gotten to know his new teammates.  And I am happy to report that they will train this fall but not travel for any games.  (Their first away game was supposed to be in Oklahoma!)  Thank you all for helping change Delonte's life.
