“KEEP UP” TUTORING

With experienced tutors, RISE helps students achieve their maximum level of proficiency in their schoolwork. Over 95% of RISE’s students graduate from high school, and many achieve college success and progress to a path to a livable wage.

WORDSTARS

RISE works with students reading at the third grade level or lower to lift their reading ability up to functional literacy. Many of RISE’s WordSTARS eventually apply to and complete college.

COLLEGE PREP PLUS

RISE's College Prep Plus Program was designed to support youth with all pre-college services, which includes FAFSA, personal statement writing, ACT/SAT prep, access to scholarships, and much more. Within the CPP program, students benefit from ongoing High Impact Tutoring and experience from visiting college campuses

This year, RISE partnered with Learn24 to provide College Prep Services to over 60 students across all three Opportunity Academies in Washington, DC (Ballou STAY, Roosevelt STAY, and Luke C. Moore). RISE is excited to announce that during SY 22/23, students from these second chance schools in the district successfully completed the program and were accepted into colleges like Trinity, University of the District of Columbia, and Norfolk State University. College is possible and RISE, with Learn24 has proven this to our youth!
