Rise Meets with Free Minds and Girls in the Burbs

It is always a special time when our kids get to meet the student ambassadors at the Free Minds Book Club, which helps juvenile offenders when they are in prison and when they re-enter society. The MATHletes and some of our College Prep students heard inspirational stories from two young men from Free Minds, and the MATHletes were also given the time to reflect on their own lives and journeys.

On the same day we met with Free Minds, a new organization, Girls in the Burbs, donated school supplies, toiletries, and other supplies for our college students.
